We stumbled upon this place and Have gone back a few times. The owner was there when we first went and he checked on his customers two times while we were there. And helped us clean up after sticky pancakes with kids. The food is reasonably priced and really really good. They have a lot of options for food and it tastes very fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I wanted to like Scaddys. I came here with an open mind. Ordered the most commonly ordered burger *wayne burger* a small drink and large fry. Total was $13.13 drink was super small and fries were not very much for a large. Burger fell apart after the first bite. Taste was great and fresh besides the gross pickles that were on it. Fries were hot and tasted fine. Fry sauce was good. Was going to give 2 stars but the bathroom was so disgusting. Also the person with a bull nose piercing was the far side from helpful/customer oriented.

Best service in town, the owner is super friendly and really nice. The chicken strips are crazy delicious and restaurant is clean, organized, & fully stocked. Much better than virges imho Did I mention that their chicken strips are awesome?

Hubby and I were here for lunch. We tried it on the suggestion of a friend. The owner was there, and he went out of his way to explain the menu and answer our questions. Hubs went with the chili cheeseburger combo. He loved it. I went with the chicken fried steak breakfast burrito.... requesting no cheese. (Weird to.put cheese on that, but, hey, I never admitted to liking cheese). It was huge and delicious! Two people could eat it. Its clean in the dining area, but the loo could use a deep scrub.

Best freaking breakfast burrito in town by far. Keep up the great food. When ever I eat here it feels like a classic family resuraunt.

I experienced this joint in the drive through. My order was accurate and pretty fast. I didn't give this place 5 because it's not just not there. I think the quality of the ingredients is just normal for a mom and pop chain. I also think the fries were just a little undercooked.

I have mixed feelings about my experience at Scaddy's, I believe the owner is trying real hard to provide the best food and good service at a reasonable price. He was there helping at the cash registers and walking around the dining room make sure everything was good, he seemed passionate and genuine. Scaddy's is kinda fast food, kinda sit down. You order at the counter from their broad menu and they bring it out to your table. The menu has sandwich's and burgers as well as a good variety of breakfast options. I had a bogo coupon and I could not decide between the Chicken or Steak Phillies so I tried both. The sandwiches were good size and had a reasonable amount of meat. The steak was sliced thin and chopped up a bit, the chicken was a grilled breast cut into inch size chunks. Overall ok but here are my gripes, the steak was a bit greasy, the chicken not much flavor. Both came on deli rolls similar to what you would get at the grocery store, not what I would expect a Philly on, they were to dense and there was too much bun to meat, a crusty Italian bread would have been much better. Both came with Swiss cheese, the cheese appeared to be processed slices, not real Swiss and it wasn't very good. I should say I am not a veggie person so I left off the onions, peppers and mushrooms that definitely changed the flavor profile and brought out the negatives in the buns and cheese. The fries were ok, nothing special. My coworker ordered a cheese burger with onion rings, she said the burger was pretty good and the onion rings were fantastic. It was obvious that the onion rings were fresh and homemade, thin onions with a light breading. I like the approach Scaddy's is taking, with a couple of tweaks to the products used (bread, cheese, etc) they could be really good. The service was good, the prices were reasonable. I will give them a try for breakfast, one of the local PD sitting close by got a breakfast burrito smothered in cream gravy which looked very tempting.

Kind of a hole in the wall place. You might think it is a Wendy's as you drive up. It is a local business but has the feel of a decent burger joint. Lots of TVs with sports. Too bad the dude who owns it is a raider fan. I was expecting less of a Fast Food Approach. The food was ok, but not the high quality I had been expecting after being told to try them out. The Wayne Burger was ok, but you could tell, that it wasn't the highest quality meat, or even hand formed, it was just two food service patties. The Mayo Situation. I love mayonnaise as much as the next guy, but good lord, they drenched this poor burger in the mayo. The Shake was meh. Would I go back? Probably, if I was on the west side and needed food, but I won't go out of my way to seek them out like I did yesterday.

I was impressed with how good this place is. Never judge a book by its cover! Everything on their menu is really good, from their breakfast to their burgers. Their shakes are actually quite amazing too!

My bf wanted to try this place out when it first opened, but we didn't. Today we actually went and we are impressed. We ordered the Mushroom and Swiss burger, our fave, then he ordered Philly Cheese Steak, it was great. They're freshly made which is a plus! Mushroom was big rather than small, a good thing cause Culver ' are canned mushrooms that are tiny. The Philly Cheese Steak, they cover the hot dog bun! which is a lot of meat. Bell peppers inside, there is a kick to it, and lots of cheese. We will be back soon. It's down from 3500 south across Super Saver and Gossip. Can't miss it.

I have eaten at this place a few times while working in the area. Their breakfast is really good, large and delicious. Come hungry. I have also had their philly, and it is pretty good too, messy but still pretty good, I have had better, but this is a quick way to get a philly if you are craving one.

Nothing is better than when someone that enjoy's good food decides to open a restaurant. This is exactly what Wayne (the owner) decided to do. I love that they started to offer breakfast all day long. While you can't go wrong with the burgers, philly's or fries, they make a good breakfast that is worth trying to mix up the boredom of the work week lunch. They also have a pretty good salad. One of the lost treasures is the "Glacer" this is a slush with ice cream in it. While many places look for ways to save a few cents Scaddy's goes all in with their soft serve. You can tell that it has cream in it. It is things like this that make Scaddy's an enjoyable place to eat. The other thing i enjoy is that Wayne walks around at lunch and will ask you how things are and enjoys hearing feedback. It is nice to have a place that you know the owner appreciates your business and lets you know that.

I was looking for somewhere to relax and eat while my bike was in the shop. I walked down the road and found Scaddys. The owner made suggestions on the best items and was extremely nice. Their home made chicken strips with Scaddy sauce are wonderful. Clean place and good food. Plus the owner comes out and checks on every customer. I will be back.

It saddens me to write a bad review about these guys because I have had their breakfast a few times and was very pleased. Very good breakfast sandwich and I love their chicken friend country burrito. Maybe expectations where to high. Ok here goes my review of the reuben I had yesterday. worst reuben I have ever had and I love a good reuben, bread was very soggy could not even pick up the sandwich. Their was hardly any meat and what their was not very good and the fires where not cooked all the way and very soggy. I would recommend breakfast and will probably go their for breakfast. But will not be going here again for lunch. Ps wife had their burger and said it was ok but her fries where under cooked as well.

we were the only customers in the resturant when we placed our order. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for them to cook our order. I thought it would be fine it took that long because our food would be fresh, but sadly the chili cheese fries were cold the cheese wasnt even melted. The burgers were also cold nothing was fresh like you would expect when your the only customers the emoyees had to focus on.

This was my fist visit. I had the foot long Hot Dog...Butterflied and grilled, just the way I like. It may take a few minutes longer than a traditional fast food restaurant, but it's cooked as it's ordered so I didn't mind waiting. The onion rings had a bit more batter on than I like but I get how some people order onion rings hoping for lots of crispy batter and crispy they were. I'm going there for breakfast this weekend, I'm hoping it's as good as my lunch was.

I made it over today to try the Swedish pancakes I didn't get to last go around. Execution here is a bit iffy on this one, again, with the pancakes approximating the Swedish style (sort of like a heavier crepe), but the taste being off slightly. There is a sort of heavy berry syrup in there (they call it a jam, but it's much more like a sauce) along with what is described as cream cheese. This is also served with a side of raspberry jelly and syrup, if you want it. I went with syrup because often something like that will be consistent enough to sort of "save" a dish and make it otherwise edible if it goes wrong. This one didn't really do that, but neither was it very good. What is amounted to was a ton of sweet. The "cream cheese" was more like a cream cheese frosting, almost a kinda sorta cream cheese cream like a really bad version of a Bavarian creme with some cream cheese mixed in for coloration. I wish it would have been actual cream cheese as it would have cut the sweetness of the inner berry syrup somewhat. I tried that with the raspberry jelly, which helped slightly and then drizzled a slight amount of maple syrup on there, just to see, but the basic cloying nature of the sauces, combined with the overall blandness of the pancakes made it very wearing to consume and towards the end, it got to be fairly difficult. A nice stiff cup of hot black tea would have helped somewhat also rather than the somewhat poorly mixed Coke Zero I had, assuming that's what it was. If you want a super-sweet breakfast, this would be it. I think the pancakes by themselves would be good with a properly done overeasy or sunny side up, but I'm beyond trusting these guys to execute anything correctly and so won't be bothering to try that. I may go in for the chicken strips, but I get the distinct impression I'll be disappointed again, so that's a pretty huge maybe. On a less savory note, this place seems to be kind of a oddball magnet as both last visit and this visit a lot of scruffy fellows drifted in, one of whom, in fact, walked across the lobby to get to the other side of the parking lot. While this could be considered moderately entertaining, there was enough of this sort of weirdness (in fact, that might have been the most normal thing any of the scraggys who were in the building during my time there were doing) in two visits for it to be unsettling enough that I'm not inclined to drift down this way for future visits, especially given the value vs. price point.

I have been here several times for dinner and it is decent. However the breakfast is something else. I ordered the breakfast feast and a friend ordered the Swedish stuffed pancakes. Tried Scaddys for the first time yesterday. Had the Scaddys bacon burger and fries - it was tasty!! Loved the bread they use for the burger. It had nice consistency and flavor. My boyfriend ordered onion rings, they too not greasy!!! Good flavor and light breading. I never thought much about this place as its usually not busy when I drive by. It was worth stopping in. Yep, I've experienced better... lots of times. I got me some Scaddy's at the drive-thru. The menu was pretty exciting, in a "holy crap, it's a fat-fest" kind of way. They have lots of greasy spoon, diner type foods. There are lots of burgers, onion rings, sandwiches and deep-fried chicken stuff. I ordered the french dip and swiss sandwich, along with the turkey and swiss sammie. I figured I'd let Lisa choose which one she wanted, but since they were sliced in half, we decided to share both sandwiches. The french dip was pretty good, but was very heavy. The cheese had a "whiz" consistency. The au jus was tasty. Overall, not a bad sandwich, but tnothing crave-worthy. The turkey and swiss sandwich was pretty bad. The bread was soggy with butter and the flavors were just odd. The french dip came with fries and they were somehwere between fair and sub-par. We were completely underwhelmed and unimpressed with Scaddy's. I'm all for a good, greasy, fattening, throwdown every now and then. But the payoff should be 20 minutes of pure bliss for my tastebuds... and that's where Scaddy's falls short.

This is my favorite local fast food places. They have a really good selection that includes burgers, salads, phillys, breakfast, chicken strips, etc. The Blaze Burger is fantastic. It includes deep-fried breaded jalapeno slices. Their hamburger buns are some of the best I've had. I liked the Wayne Burger as well, although you should ask them to go light on the mayo. Their fries are OK, but nothing special. Their chicken strips are fantastic- they bread them in the restaurant so they have a very homemade taste and texture to them.

Wanted a good burger. I found Scaddy's online. Good service, the food came quickly and tasted great. The Burger was juicy with a nice patty and great bun. It had great flavor. The fries were fresh and very tasty. I couldn't leave without having some soft-serve ice-cream.

Their fries are OK, but nothing special. Their chicken strips are fantastic- they bread them in the restaurant so they have a very homemade taste and texture to them.

They deep fry the jalapeños for the bacon jalapeño burger, you are not a true man until you try it!

Food was decent, front service was good, unfortunate that my whole time there they vacuumed the whole place...

Wanted a good burger. I found Scaddy's online. Good service, the food came quickly and tasted great. The Burger was juicy with a nice patty and great bun. It had great flavor. The fries were fresh and very tasty. I couldn't leave without having some soft-serve ice-cream.
